Radics is a school data management platform designed, developed and maintained by SarvSutra Systems Pvt. Ltd. - a company incorporated in India under Companies Act 2013 on March 22nd 2018.
The primary purpose of Radics is to reduce the information and process management burden of Teachers, School Leadership and Management, Teacher Trainers and Administrators. Additionally, Radics improves the reliability and availability of data in a secure way for a variety of non-educator and non-administrative stakeholders concerned with schools such as Parents, Students, NGOs, Donors and Members of School’s Local Community, in order to facilitate effective exchange of ideas, knowledge and resources that aid school development and management.
Radics is a multi-channel solution that comprises a light-weight, offline-ready progressive web application called the Radics App, and an intelligent chat-based education helpline called the Radics Chat Service.
These terms of service, as amended, govern the usage of Radics by its Users (as defined below). By using Radics, you have accepted and agree to be governed by these Terms, as may be amended from time to time. The terms "you", "your" hereinafter refer to any User of Radics, including Guest and Registered Users (as defined below). The terms "us", "our" hereinafter refer to SarvSutra Systems Pvt. Ltd.
Terminology
Radics means the Radics platform comprising the Radics App (a progressive web application), the Radics Chat Service (an intelligent chat-based software application), the data generated and hosted via any of the application interfaces (chat, web or mobile), application servers and databases, or any other software or data hosted on subdomains/extended domains of Radics (https://schools.sarvsutra.org).
School means a single school governed by either a Government Body or a Private Non-profit Organization and comprising physical infrastructure, staff, students, management and board.
School Process means an activity performed or authorized by one or more than one Users that changes the current state of a school. A school process that can be managed or tracked via Radics includes:
Student Enrolment and Drop-Out
Teacher and Student Attendance
School Audit
Mid Day Meal Delivery
Teaching-Learning Material Delivery
Preventive Health Support Delivery
In-person Lesson Delivery
Classroom Observation
Digital Educational Content Delivery
In-service Teacher Training
Student Assessments
Physical Infrastructure Development and Maintenance
Parent-Teacher Meeting
School Management Committee Meeting
Community/Household Surveys
Grievances
Peripheral Entity means a physical, non-living entity present in a School’s vicinity that either supports the school’s functions and/or benefits from the school. Radics provides mechanisms to its Users to link peripheral entities to their respective school in order to facilitate school management. A peripheral entity includes, but is not limited to, a:
Household
Cluster Resource Center
Village Panchayat/Ward Office
Health Center
Ration Shop
Anganwadi
Common Service Center
School Network means a specific set of schools with a shared identity, purpose or governance structure. A school network can either be contained with-in a city/district or spread across multiple cities/districts.
Guest User means any natural person using Radics without authentication and authorization. Guest Users can access only those platform features and data that are made publicly available.
Registered User means any natural person using Radics after fulfilling all the authentication and authorization requirements.
School Network Administrator means a registered user who creates a school network on Radics.
School Network Moderator means a registered user authorised to be the moderator of a school network by the Administrator of that school network.
School Network Member means a registered user authorized to be the member of a school network by either the Administrator or the Moderator of that school network.
Content/Data (terms used interchangeably) mean a digital file/or entry in an existing digital file that is not a software program and is generated directly as a result of a user activity on the platform, or created by a third-party and uploaded/shared on Radics by a registered user, or created through an automated execution of a software program on Radics. Content/Data on Radics includes:
Primary data that originated from with-in the Radics by a User action or interaction between two or more Users
Secondary data uploaded to or shared via Radics by a User
Analytics generated from primary and secondary data sources in the form of Graphs, Dashboards, Documents and Text Messages
Internal files (documents, spreadsheets, PDFs, audio, video, images etc.) or hyperlinks generated through Radics
External files (documents, spreadsheets, PDFs, audio, video, images etc.) or hyperlinks uploaded to or shared via Radics
Access, Use and Compliance
As a User you represent and warrant that you are of legal age and are legally competent to form a binding contract (or if not, you've received your parent's or guardian's permission to use Radics and they have agreed to these Terms on your behalf).
If you are agreeing to these Terms on behalf of a department, institution, organization or other legal entity (for example, if you’re an Administrator agreeing to the Terms on behalf of your school, institution, organisation, government department, non-profit organization, etc.), you hereby represent and warrant that you are duly authorized to agree to these Terms on behalf of that department, institution, organization or entity and these Terms are binding on them.
If you are agreeing to these Terms on behalf of a minor who is not of legal age, you hereby represent and warrant that you consent / have obtained consent from the parent(s) / legal guardian(s) on behalf of such minor, to access, view and use Radics in accordance with these Terms.
Users can:
access and use content available on/via Radics,
create and manage their User profiles, and
upload and share content with other Users
Users can sign-up on either Radics App or Radics Chat Service or both by self-registration only i.e. a user must complete all the authentication and authorization steps on their own in order to become a registered user. Additionally, to join a particular school network a user may be asked for a 6 digit joining code provided by the School Network Administrator. Radics may also perform a back-check to verify your identity, if required.
For all Registered Users, Radics will collect information about you, and the school and peripheral entities you are associated with in accordance with our.
All Registered Users shall follow the policies and guidelines of Radics as applicable from time to time, including but not limited to the Terms of Service and the
Radics should be used for its intended purpose only i.e. management of school processes/data and facilitation of education/education-related services. As a User, you will be responsible for all your actions and activities in relation to your usage of Radics.
Your access and use of Radics may possibly be disrupted due to technical or operational difficulties, without prior notice of downtime.
Registered Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their User ID and Password and also responsible for all activities that occur under their User ID and Password. As a Registered User, you agree, inter alia, to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself and the school and peripheral entities you are authorized to manage or collect data for.
You cannot transfer ownership of your registered user account to anyone else
If you provide any information that is untrue, inappropriate, inaccurate, not current or incomplete or there are reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, inappropriate, not current or incomplete, or not in accordance with these Terms, SarvSutra Systems reserves the right to indefinitely suspend or terminate your registration or block access to and participation in Radics.
As a School Network Administrator you are subject to additional access and usage terms as follows:
You will create and administer a school network
You may create and administer more than one school network
You will authorize other school network administrators, school network moderators and members
You will authorize view and edit actions for various protected entities on the platform, such as Students, Schools, Households, Teachers and Parents. Details of protected entities are covered in our
You will be provided access to additional School Network analytics, over and beyond what is made available to Network Members
You shall be responsible for compliance with our Terms of Service and by all registered users who are part of your school network(s)
You will be provided access to tools to mass communicate with members of your network
You shall comply with Indian law currently in force, including but not limited to the (Indian) Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures) Rules, 2011 with respect to any data and personal information that is collected during the course of running a mass communication campaign.
As a School Network Moderator you are subject to additional access and usage terms as follows:
You will moderate a school network as authorized by the school network administrator
You may authorize other school network moderators
You may authorize view and edit actions for various protected entities on the platform, such as Students, Schools, Households, Teachers and Parents. Details of protected entities are covered in our.
You will be provided access to additional School Network analytics, over and beyond what is made available to Network Members
You will be provided access to tools to mass communicate with members of your network.
You shall comply with Indian law currently in force, including but not limited to the (Indian) Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures) Rules, 2011 with respect to any data and personal information that is collected during the course of running a mass communication campaign.
Prohibited Content and Use Registered Users shall not:
use Radics for any purpose other than school process management and education service delivery.
post, upload, or distribute any defamatory, libelous, or inaccurate Content or other content;
post, upload, or distribute any Content or other content that is unlawful or that a reasonable person could deem to be objectionable, offensive, indecent, pornographic, harassing, threatening, vulgar, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or otherwise inappropriate;
contribute any Content (including any of the elements that such Content comprises such as text, scripts, graphics, photos, sounds, music, videos, audio-visual combinations etc.) that infringes upon any third party rights including but not limited to intellectual property rights such as copyrights or any other legal rights of individual(s)/organisation(s);
use Radics in any manner that is harmful to minors, or in any manner that violates the extant Terms of Service or.
impersonate any person or entity, falsely claim an affiliation with any person or entity, or access Radics’ accounts of others without permission, or perform any other fraudulent activity;
delete the copyright or other proprietary rights notices on Radics or on any licensed Content uploaded and share via Radics
assert, or authorize, assist, or encourage any third party to assert, against Radics any intellectual property infringement claim regarding any Content you have used, submitted, or otherwise made available on or through Radics;
make unsolicited offers, advertisements, proposals, or send junk mail/instant messages or spam to other Users (including, but not limited to, unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, offerings or other solicitation material, bulk mailing of commercial advertising, chain mail, informational announcements, charity requests, and petitions for signatures);
use Radics for any illegal purpose, or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law, including, without limitation, laws governing intellectual property and other proprietary rights, and data protection and privacy;
defame, harass, abuse, threaten or defraud Users, or collect, or attempt to collect, personal information about Users or third parties without their consent;
remove, circumvent, disable, damage or otherwise interfere with security-related features of Radics;
modify, adapt, translate or create derivative works based upon Radics or any part thereof, except and only to the extent expressly permitted by the license applicable to continuent parts of the Radics; or
intentionally interfere with or damage operation of Radics or any user's usage of it, by any means, including without limitation by participation in any denial-of-service type attacks or by uploading or otherwise disseminating viruses, adware, spyware, worms, or other malicious code.
Data Policy
Radics is built with a mission to improve the quality of school education, and to achieve this mission we enable timely access to reliable data about schools to a variety of stakeholders. We don’t sell any personal information emerging from your actions or actions of those under your authorization as performed on Radics. Our explains how we collect and use data uploaded to or generated via Radics to fulfil our mission. At any time, you reserve the right to completely and irrevocably delete your data from Radics.
By using Radics and/or by providing your information, you consent to the collection and use of the information you disclose on Radics in accordance with our.
Third Party Content
It shall be the sole responsibility of Registered Users to ensure that proper and correct attributions, acknowledgements and sourcing references are given to the Content and individual(s)/ institution(s) that have been involved in the development and creation of Content and wherever Content has been quoted/used on Radics.
It shall be the responsibility of Registered Users not to infringe upon any third party rights including but not limited to intellectual property rights such as copyrights or any other legal rights of individual(s)/organisation(s) with regards to Content (including all the elements that such Content comprises such as text, scripts, graphics, photos, sounds, music, videos, audio-visual combinations etc.) uploaded to and shared via Radics. For any legal matter arising out of infringement of such rights by the Registered User, such Registered User shall be solely responsible for any financial or other damages arising out of such violations and disputes.
Changes in Terms and Policies - These Terms (including any policies, terms and guidelines) may be updated or modified from time to time and the revised Terms will be reflected herein. Your continued use of Radics constitutes acceptance of the then-current Terms. Hence, we encourage you to visit this page periodically to review any changes.
Limited Liability
As a User you shall not collect any personal information or sensitive personal data of other Users through Radics without authorization. For collecting such information, you must ensure that such collection, storage, transfer and disclosure is in accordance with Indian law currently in force, including but not limited to the (Indian) Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures) Rules, 2011.
SarvSutra Systems do not guarantee the accuracy of any of the Content made available on the Radics. SarvSutra Systems do not take responsibility for any external websites linked on Radics, including compliance with Indian Government Web Guidelines.
Registered Users are solely responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of the username and password. Any unauthorised use of your username or password or any other breach of security must be notified by sending an email notification to schools.admin@sarvsutra.org or a text message to +91-9324029526. SarvSutra Systems will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from failure to comply with this provision.
Registered Users are responsible for any offensive or unlawful Content posted, transmitted, sent or communicated through their accounts. SarvSutra Systems shall not be held responsible for any offensive or unlawful Content posted, uploaded, transmitted, sent and received through Radics.
In no event will SarvSutra Systems be liable for any expense, loss or damage including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any expense, loss or damage whatsoever arising from use, or loss of use, of data, arising out of or in connection with the access or use of Radics.
Termination - Any violation or breach of these Terms, including while investigating complaints or alleged violation of these Terms, may lead to suspension or termination of your registration and access to Radics.
Electronic Agreement - This document is a written agreement and an electronic record and valid and enforceable electronic agreement / contract under Information Technology Act, 2000 (as applicable in Republic of India) and rules there under as applicable and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records in various statutes under applicable Indian laws. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures. Your usage of Radics shall be your deemed acceptance of these Terms and all the modifications and updates thereto.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution - These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Indian law. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
Disclaimer - Radics is available on an "as is" basis and there are no warranties of any kind with respect to Radics. Sarvsutra Systems Pvt. Ltd. specifically disclaim any implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Access and use of Radics (including any content or information) is entirely at your own risk. In no event will SarvSutra Systems be liable for any expense, loss or damage including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any expense, loss or damage whatsoever arising from use, or loss of use, of data, arising out of or in connection with the use of Radics. When you select a link to an outside website, you are leaving Radics and are subject to the privacy and security policies of the owners/sponsors of the outside website / domain.
